WORK IN PROGRESS :)\r\n\r\nThis is my first attempt at modeling a container. I wanted to create something large enough to fit most bulkier items that tend to accumulate on my desk, while still being visually appealing enough not to spark complaints from my loving wife.\r\n\r\nThe majority of the inspiration comes from the [Modular Drawers 2.0](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2539830) by O3D. Compared to this one, I simplified the rails that are now reduced to just two per side. All rails are identical so modules will connect by printing small pegs to slide into the rails where needed. This reduction in complexity saves overall printing time and allows all faces to be mostly flat.\r\n\r\nThe back is left open to save filament while the front is designed to prevent drawers from slipping inside the structure.\r\n\r\nI must admit that any model around 13x13x20cm will not be fast nor cheap to print, so I am actively looking for ways to lighten up the structure. I will post my progress as soon as an idea sparks in my mind.\r\n\r\nTo outline the roadmap this project currently has:\r\n- Improve printing speed;\r\n- Refine shapes to reduce filament costs;\r\n- Design drawer separator options;\r\n- Change pins to snap-ins;\r\n\r\n... and, of course, bug hunting!
