I designed a chess set using metal CNC about a few years ago. Never completed one in aluminum, so here I am printing them instead! This version includes bottom traps that can accommodate 5/16" or M8 nuts for added weight. Simply glue or heat-fit the nuts and top it off with some nice, thin adhesive-backed felt to complete the look.
