Modified 2.5" to 3.5" adapter tray for Microserver caddy
thingiverse
To resolve compatibility issues, I revised Apexio's tray design for my 2.5-inch SSDs in our HP Microserver. The original design caused a 2mm height discrepancy and misalignment of the SATA connector. I made adjustments to enhance rigidity and print efficiency by removing unnecessary material. Using the HP non-hotplug 3.5-inch drive caddy/tray, I drilled holes for cleanliness and cautioned on slow screwing for thread creation without splitting sides. As an optional measure, I suggested drilling a hole in the HP plastic caddy for direct 2.5-inch drive screwing, although I found it unnecessary for support.
