Modified 3D Scanner/Turntable Rig (work-in-progress)

UPDATE: 22/06/2014 Replaced the RC car motor with a full rotation servo, which eliminated the need for a built-in battery as well. The entire casing is now smaller and more compact. I've done quite a few events now where I scanned the guests and printed their figurines out as momento. However, I did get feedback from some guests that they got really dizzy and unable to stay still while standing on the turntable. After some research online, I've decided to modify the turntable to turn the 3D scanner around instead of the objects/people. The additional elements I've included in the design were the adjustable extension arm for the camera dolly, and also the vertical track for the 3D scanner that can be remotely controlled. (Still a work in progress as the current motor used with the RC receiver spins too fast.) Below are 2 videos to give you an idea what I'm trying to achieve. I'll have to spend more time working on the 3D scanner track before I can get any good 3D scans.https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=613308525406751https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=634132603324343
