Modified DeWalt™ AirLock™ compatible twist-lock dust collector fitting

<p>Quick modification to the inner lock ring of svideo's great DeWalt AirLock compatible twist-lock fitting. You must print the other two components from the original Thing files.</p> <p>The original version is designed for certain models that have the lock groove closer to the end of the tool-side fitting. This works great for a variety of hand tools, sanders, etc. Unfortunately this design didn't work when attempting to connect to my DeWalt DWS780 miter saw, even though DeWalt touts this as a standardized fitting. The lock groove on that saw is further from the end of the tool-side fitting, which then interferes with the dog teeth on the inner lock ring. This is a quick-and-dirty modification to trim the dog teeth back to allow extra clearance.</p> <p>Enjoy!</p> Category: Machine Tools
