### Update - September 11, 2017 Uploaded the following modified pieces: * A split version of the main body piece. * A split version of the main (shorter) handle. These changes allow me to print at 100% on my Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus (200x200x180). ### Details I have modified ~~*some* of the parts~~ (**update:** most of the parts, except for the longer handle) for the excellent [Z18 Warhammer 40k Chainsword - supportless assembly](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:855861) to fit on my Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus. I'm printing one of these (at 50%) as a companion to the [Primaris Bolt Rifle & Pistol](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2414607) which I recently printed (you can see the print [here](https://www.thingiverse.com/make:380288)). > **NOTE:** I have not modified all of the parts, so you will need to download the other pieces from the original project. I'm initially printing these at 50% scale, so I don't know if these model files fit, at full scale, *yet*. I will check and adjust if need be before I'm done. First I'll finish the 50% model. ### Modifications I've split the `main-chain.stl` into three parts. I've also modified `supports.stl` to print horizontally. They now have a flat surface on one side, but this should not matter since they go inside the `main-chain.stl` piece. > Note that even at 50% scale, the `supports.stl` were too wide (printing horizontally) to fit on my print bed. That was easy enough. **With a horizontal orientation**, I scaled the Y and Z axis by **50%** and the X axis by **25%**. If printed twice, you can glue the supports or attach them some other way to create the full-length pieces. Thanks VERY much to [aaskedall](https://www.thingiverse.com/aaskedall/about) for some **VERY** impressive full-sized models. Looking forward to whatever comes next!
