This Starlink mount fits into a standard 80mm drain/waste pipe and provides an extremely strong mount for Dishy.

I sprayed mine with white paint after completion to give further protection from the elements.

Slide the mount into the top of your 80mm pipe first. Screw three 25mm x 300mm metal strips onto the flat parts of the mount and into the edges of the pipe where they overlap. I used Lumberlok pre drilled steel bracing strap from my local hardware store and attached them with 16mm x 14 gauge roofing steel screws.

Affix the pipe securely to your building using the 80mm pipe holder included in the download file or by other means.

The Dishy is a slide fit into to the hole at the top with the cable leading down the groove in the side. Push Dishy down until its tabs pop into the holes in the side of the mount. No further fixing is required and Dishy can be removed at any time by pushing the mount tabs in using the holes provided in the mount.

Within one week of my starting to use this mount we had wind speeds over 80kmh recorded at my weather station a few metres away. Dishy just sat there and continued working as if nothing was happening.

Prusament PETG 0.30mm Draft mode.

Perimeters 16, Top 10, Bottom 10, Infill 50% Gyroid

Supports on base only

The print is 210mm high. Slice a section equally off the top and bottom if you need to print on a printer with less vertical capacity.

Design Notes: I wanted to overcome any potential layering weaknesses so the design places the Dishy mount pipe below the level of the top of the 80mm support pipe while the outer metal supports also transfer the stresses onto the support pipe

Designed using Shapr3D on an iPad Pro.
