Here's an exercise to get you started with modeling using modifiers. You'll need a base mesh to work with, so start by creating one. You can use any shape or form, but for this example, let's go with a simple cube. Next, create a modifier that will control the overall size and scale of your mesh. This is where things get interesting - you have several options here, including scaling, offsetting, and even applying deformations like bending or twisting. Let's start with scaling. Select your base mesh, then click on the "Scale" modifier in the modifier list. You can adjust the scale values to change the size of your mesh. If you want a larger mesh, increase the scale value; if you want a smaller one, decrease it. Now that you have your scale modifier set up, let's add some offsetting. This will move your mesh away from its original position. Select the "Offset" modifier and adjust the values to create some space between your mesh and its surroundings. Last but not least, let's talk about deformations. These modifiers allow you to manipulate the shape of your mesh in various ways, such as bending or twisting it. To add a deformation modifier, select the "Deform" option from the list and choose the type of deformation you want to apply. As you experiment with these different modifiers, remember that they can be combined and stacked to create complex effects. Don't be afraid to try new things and see what happens!
