Modjul - Pop! Trucks and wheels

This was designed with the idea of being strong enough and light enough to survive doing tricks. I broke many before finding the right design, filament and print settings to make it strong enough. This replaces the reverse kingpin trucks from the original modjul system, as it's stronger, lighter, simpler and maintains a better alignment of the wheels. Check out the results of materials and settings testing here with COOL CHARTS! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1kNHv5hwBYRdDyKdxN3DF4e-Sy2Rp3Bn7hhZmjKep5r0/edit?usp=sharing To put this together you will also need: - 6802 bearings (x8) 15mm x 24mm x 5mm (i paid $10 for 10) - a skateboard deck of course - bolts and nuts to attach the deck to the trucks (x8) #10, 1-1/2" long. - Kingpin bolts: 3/8" x 2-1/2" (x2) - optional: 3/8" stop nuts. To keep it simple I recommend printing must things in PLA Pro / PLA+. I've been using eSun's version, which is very good. It has very high tensile strength, excellent shatter resistance, excellent layer adhesion, and doesn't need to be dried to print well. PETG can be an alternative to PLA+, although it has more flex. Just make sure to dry your PETG thoroughly, and print it hot. I print at 252 C with a volcano block. I've learned If it's not completely dry, it will not print hot enough and won't get good layer adhesion. Also you will need a TPU for wheels and bushings. 85-95A. In my experience 85a rolls faster. I've included large and small wheels. The small wheels don't roll as well, but they're better for tricks of course. See the Original System in action here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3426407 I print the same extrusion width as the nozzle diameter. Supposedly that's the strongest way to print, based on some testing done by others.
