<p>Remix for an Edimax ES5500M 5-port Gigabit switch.</p> <p>The ES5500M has an odd plastic case and a power connector on the front. This mount is designed to replace the original plastic case completely. You can still power it from the front or just solder a power cable to the solder points of the power socket and then supply power from the back.</p> <p>I provided right and left versions plus a cover plate that can be screwed to the back of the mount to close up the back.</p> <p>The switch PCB is mounted in the new case using three M3x6mm plastic standoffs (male-female version), three M3x8 button head screws and three M3 plastic nuts for the standoffs.
