**This moderator is for air gun use only! Do not attempt to mount it to any other type of gun!** **Follow you local laws regarding moderators!** For Germany: Wenn ich das Gesetz richtig verstehe muß der Schalldämpfer mit folgendem Hinweis gekennzeichnet werden. "nur für F Luftgewehre" Das "F" muss das "F" im Fünfeck für freie Waffen sein! This is a further development step of the two moderators I have already posted. The inside chamber parts of this design are compatible to the following 35mm design https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4298162 The main feature of this version is the modular approach. The part that threads onto the barrel is no longer printed with the tube but is screwed on instead. This makes it possible to attach the same moderator to a barrel with a different thread by only printing an end cap with the matching thread. Previously you had to reprint the main body, which takes around three hours... Due to this approach it is even possible to to screw the moderator over your barrel. Making the entire setup a lot shorter. In this configuration, the first baffle will direct a lot of the air towards the back of the rifle and the remaining chamber will dampen the sound coming out of the front. This has a positive effect on the balance of your rifle as well since you don't have a long weight connected to the tip of you barrel any more. I have prepared two moderator sets. One gives you the standard moderator design which attaches to the front of your barrel. The other fits over a Walther Rotex RM8 Varmint barrel or a barrel with a diameter of less then 16mm. **Please pay attention to the Front Cap, End Cap and Chamber parts. There are versions for 4.5mm and 5.5mm available** **Set 1** - standard moderator - print one of each part unless noted otherwise Chamber Part A needs to be glued to Chamber Part B (check the pictures for a guide). Most parts have a one layer thick brim on the inside to help it stick to the build plate. You must remove the brim before assembly. With the chambers assembled you simply insert the parts into the tube and screw the front and end cap on. **Pay attention to the tube threads as the End Cap and Front Cap use different threads!** * Set1_End_Cap_UNF.stl **OR** Set1_End_Cap_10mm.stl * Moderator_Tube_145mm.stl * Front_Cap.stl * 2x Chamber_40mm_PartA.stl * Chamber_25mm_PartA.stl * 3x Chamber_PartB.stl * Cone_10mm.stl **Set 2** - for barrels with a diameter of less then 16mm - print the following Chamber Part A needs to be glued to Chamber Part B (check the pictures for a guide). Most parts have a one layer thick brim on the inside to help it stick to the build plate. You must remove the brim before assembly. Also please don't over fill the back tube with polyfill. The air will only dissipate energy when moving **through** the section filled with polyfill. * Moderator_Tube_80mm.stl * Moderator_Tube_145mm.stl * Set2_Center_Adapter_UNF.stl * Set2_End_Cap.stl * Front_Cap.stl * Chamber_40mm_PartA.stl * Chamber_PartB.stl * Cone_10mm.stl Updates: * Chamber Part B - reduced size of hole. Air was able to get behind the cloth when entering the chamber
