Suckulent Planter 2.0: A Versatile Hexagonal Design The Suckulent Planter 2.0 is a hexagonal masterpiece that breaks free from traditional constraints by allowing multiple planters to be attached along any edge, creating endless possibilities for unique designs. **Key Features** * Attach multiple planters together seamlessly, experimenting with various shapes and patterns. * Stack or connect the bottom two connectors of one planter to the top two connectors of another, crafting stair-like structures that ascend or descend in a visually stunning way. * Made possible by innovative attachment modules that slide into each other, allowing for endless creativity. **Print Settings** * Printer Brand: LulzBot * Printer Model: Mini * Rafts: Not Required * Supports: Not Necessary **Inspiration Behind the Design** This project was born out of a school assignment and served as my second succulent planter design. Building on the success of my previous polygon-style design, I opted for a hexagonal shape to make the process easier while maintaining the aesthetic appeal. **Design Process** * Begin by extruding a hexagon, then create a smaller one to use in a Boolean difference operation and form a container. * Add a rim to the bottom and an indentation on top, making the planters stackable and easy to store. * Incorporate two attachment modules that fit together seamlessly, allowing each piece to be connected to another planter. This opens up possibilities for designing complex shapes and structures, including stair-like formations.
