Modular Container for Tabletop
thingiverse
I crafted this set of files from scratch to meet a need for customizable terrain in a box format. Taking inspiration from carpeting and classic panel doors, the prints serve as a basic frame to hold panels measuring 45x53.33x5mm (height x width x depth) made from any material or design you prefer. To create the intricate patterns in the pictures, I used foamcore and my earlier designed texture roller to craft the "inlays". You can check out this technique here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3809031 The possibilities are endless - I'm particularly fond of this box, even though it has no connection to my design whatsoever: https://www.picbear.org/media/B02odt-Hvrk To assemble the basic frame, ensure you print at least two upper and lower corner sets, as well as two doors that will form a complete door when combined (please print the door and its mirrored version). Adding some extra rigidity and style can be achieved by printing "detail_1" four times and "detail-2" at least twice.
