Modular desktop tool holder for 3D printing.

Modular desktop tool holder for 3D printing.

While working on my 3D printer I've realized I waste a "lot" of time getting the exact tool I need from the bottom of some drawer or toolbox, so I decided to design a desktop tool holder for the tool set I most use. I created a modular design, this way I can change my set-up without printing the whole thing from scratch. You can design the small rectangles that hold the tools according to your needs. You can't even laser-cut this part if you want to save some time. It has 3 different levels for easy access and also to hold tools with different length. My design holds: X-acto knife. Metal Spatula. Vernier Caliper. A nail file. Chopsticks (really handy when placing nuts while printing, also if you're really hungry and you don't want to print a fork I guess) 4 Pliers. Tweezers. Small vernier caliper. Thickness gauge set. 4 hex Allen keys. Scalpel Knife. 3 Screwdrivers. 2 Sharpies. Hope you find it useful.
