This is a design I spent several days on, and I was really proud of the results. Even I was surprised how much stuff I could fit in this little thing. I wanted to design a desktop organizer that meets the following requirements: 1. Modular, so the different functions can be chosen according to one's needs, printed individually, and combined together however one likes. Personally I would like to see some changes once in a while, and instead of throwing the old one away and getting a new one, I could just easily rearrange it! 2. Economical in terms of filament usage. I know the filaments are not that expensive, but I tend to try to use the least material to achieve what I need, to be a little bit more environmental-friendly and keeps money in the purse! 3. Easy to use. Just making sure that the real practical functions are not sacrificed to suit the appearance or the modular feature. 4. And of course, last but not least, good looking! So here's what I ended up with. The drawers are printed individually and stacked together (one unit = one drawer frame + one drawer). The vertical connections between the drawers are hidden in the "puzzle jigsaw" used for horizontal connections between units. They come in two sizes (30/45mm high), and have some variations for interior divisions. Personally I don't use the divisions because they are pretty small drawers already. The open box is to be placed at the top of the drawers and seals the loose ends. And as you probably have noticed, it's a cat! The ears and tail of the cat can also hold a pair of sunglasses/reading glasses! The frames of the drawers have hollow patterns on the bottom and back. So does the book holder and the upper half of the pen pot (the lower part is kept solid so the pens don't stick out from the holes). It's not really Voronoi because honestly I don't think Voronoi look as good. I think I would describe it more as some kind of a tree branch pattern. :) Also uploaded the earlier versions of pen pot and book holder without the patterns.
