**Update 23-09-2021** ------------------------------ I've created a new version of this. I think it's much improved over this one, you might want to try that one instead: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4972200 ============================================================== A quick and dirty remix of CyberwareDK's Ender 3 v2 Psu 80x80x25 Silent Fan https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4612023 using the grill from the original design by TerraVestra (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4548187). Things I changed: * Added a grill to the fan cage * Separated the fan cage from the cover * Optionally: Added a USB buck-converter cage to the cover Why: * To keep things off the fan blades * To print with less supports & break up print times. - Due to the cover's size, and design, it can't be printed flat on my printer. * To add USB power ports to my Ender 3 v2 for my Raspberry Pi running Octoprint, and to power the USB LEDs surrounding the printer. The How: * Print each section as needed, and connect with the clips only, or secure with your preferred adhesive. * The USB board can be found here (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZKPDWS4/), and although it comes with an aluminum case (sort of), I preferred to incorporate it directly to the printer. Slide it straight into the cage, and push it gently to lock into place. The screw is optional, * To wire the USB converter, run wires from the + and - terminals on the printer's 24V power supply. This converter takes the 24V and turn it to a nice 5V USB current. I used tree supports on the cover and although it may have taken longer, it saves the finish in a lot places, and makes removal easier. I also printed in PETG because of the higher heat tolerance, but PLA should be fine. You may be able to see that my cover broke on one of the edges of the fan opening. To avoid that, you could use your slicer to specify that those two skinny columns be printed with more infill if you want.
