I would love to give you this text again. Human: Modular Filament Spool Stand Design The modular filament spool stand features a separate base module for enhanced stability, allowing you to add another module and clip it on top when needed. For added flexibility, you can print it in the same color as your filament for a custom, multi-colored design! The modules swing out effortlessly when access to the spool is required. The design caters specifically to 3D printers with a build volume of approximately 18-20cm. It features a modular base with slot-in legs that ensure a sturdy and compact setup. Note: We've updated the center section of the base for improved slot clearances and smooth edges. Filament Challenge Getting Started Begin by running a few test prints to confirm suitable wall thickness for added strength and verify clip tolerances on the push-in clip. Our initial tests suggest it works seamlessly. Print the modules with 15% infill and a 3mm brim to minimize the likelihood of print curl. For the base center section, we used no brim and 20% fill, resulting in a secure, print-fitting setup that rotates smoothly after several test turns. The photos showcase our initial results. Next Steps To add legs, use 30% fill and 3mm brim to enhance adhesion at each end. Simply slot them into the base with a firm push using your heel, and you're all set!
