These stands are designed to use 1/8" acrylic rods for the stands (I used [these](https://www.amazon.com/Plastruct-90292-AR-4H-Clear-Rod/dp/B0006O6QYO) off Amazon, but they can be had cheaper on Ebay or elsewhere). If you don't wish to buy acrylic rods, there's printable templates for rods in a few pre-sized lengths, but they can be scaled to any size length in your slicer. For 1" and 2" stands, you can print with the rods in the center, or offset to allow the grid space below to be used for play. Stands are also included to accept 1, 2, or 3 rods (for increased stability). Couplers are also included to dynamically change or add/remove lengths to stands mid-game if you wish. Additionally, for higher heights (> 4" in my experience) the rods have some flexibility so braces to stabilize the rods are also included. These looks great printed in clear or white PLA, but any color will work. I printed and tested the 1" and 2" versions, with heights up to 15" (with bracing and couplers). If there is need/interest, I am happy to produce some more stable versions for larger bases or heights. **PRINT / ASSEMBLY SETTINGS** No need for detail in these, so I printed @ .24mm layer heights. For the bases, use a very high infill percentage to add weight for stability (I used 90%), and very light infill for the tops (I used 12%). For the braces and couplers, to avoid elephant foot, I used a small raft. After printing, you may need to use a pin vise or drill with a 1/8" drill bit to clear out the holes so the rods fit. You can make these stands permanent with a few dabs of super glue or other plastic adhesive, but they should pressure fit ok and work fine for gaming without glue. Hope you find these useful, and please check out the Kickstarter if you want some cool, unique models to print!
