Original scale hexagons are 27mm on the short diagonal (centre of a side to the centre of the opposite side). This means they are about 31.2mm on the long diagonal (corner to opposite corner). The tiles themselves are 6mm tall, and the joiners are 2.8mm tall. These hexagonal tiles can join together in a modular way, with the **join mechanism designed to be invisible from the top**. CAD or superglue your own additions to the top surface to create a modular terrain system. Alternatively, join the hexagons to get a functional and expandable battle grid. Once completed, I will provide a link to files for my own modular continent map. #Assembly Guide While the hexagons have slots on all 6 corners, the joiners should only be in every second corner of a hexagon. The extra slots are to avoid having to worry about the orientation of the plate relative to whatever is attached to the top. The easiest way for joining multiple tiles that I have found is to create rows (as in the fourth picture) and join these together.
