# Modular Vive Tracker Mounts I got tired of constantly putting my off shoes to recharge area, or fiddling around with the screw to get the trackers off. so instead I made a mount system that allows me take the trackers off the shoes while still connected to the mount. This makes it easier, at the end of the day, just to snap slide the Mounts off and put them to charge. This is probably even more handier for those who have MANY trackers they can use with their systems. The only down side is the tolerances, I was having a bit of a doozy getting those right< and they currently work for my printer, and it may need adjustment for others, thus this is why it is still a Work in Progress. Use at your own risk. ## Included - TrackerMount.stl: Allows connection of the Tracker to the Mount. You may need as many as you have trackers to mount. Note Must be printed at 0.2mm. - TrackerMount.step: Original step file for making the mount, you can use this to extend this system for your own mount designs. - TrackerHolderBelt.stl: Belt Mount, Allows for 38mm wide or smaller belts to be used with the Mount. Slide the Mount into it to have a connection - TrackerHolderShoe.stl: Shoe Mount. has 8 holes. Tied with the Shoelaces and allows the tracker slided on and off it. # Notice: When I created these half a year ago, I was still a bit new to Fusion 360, You may need to **rotate all by 90 degrees on the X** when importing to a slicer. See Orientation Image ## Screws I use Generic 1/4 camera screws. Has room for less than 18mm diameter screw heads with a height of 5mm (the holders take this to account too, so screw might poke out of the Mount). There should be fairly large amount of tolerance for screws, but versions for larger screws is also possible. ## Shoes As of the moment, the shoe unit is kinda long. I'll probably revisit this to make it shorter, You should mount it as close to the bottom of the laces as possible. I might also revisit the direction the trackers are placed, as as of the moment a shorter foot would hit the shins when squatting. or if someone is upto it, look at using the existing mount step file to make a new mount system.
