Modular Light Modifier System for Strobist (v1) [MLMS]

thingiverse

This is a versatile system for the lighting modifier (V.1). Using magnets enables quick and safe changes of modifier. A neodymium magnet, 4x2 mm in size, is used. These magnets are inexpensive and easily found in electronics stores. Clean the hole slightly before attaching it. Be cautious with direction; all magnets must be aligned similarly. The multi-flash adapter requires a Velcro strip to attach securely. Sew it carefully onto the adapter. The BASE file consists of a square base with magnet holes. This design allows users to create their own flash adapters, similar to the SB700 adapter that I have created. More Ynguo adapters will soon be available. The filter holder is designed for 44mm wide gels but can be difficult to print in one piece. To overcome this challenge, a two-piece version has been created. This design features two sides with magnets, enabling users to connect it between other modifiers. The Snoot is relatively thin and may require re-designing for better stability. However, it can still be used effectively. Reinforcing it with black tape or varnish could improve its performance. Create your own adapters or modifiers and share them using the [MLMS] tag to simplify discovery and sharing of designs.
