Magnetic effector, carriages, and other brackets for a delta. I wanted to easily add fans or prox switxhes. So I tried to come up with a modular design that could be used with different brackets for fans and sensors. This is a heavily remixed version of this one. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1540203 Thank you. The effector I reworked and made it with places mount accessory brackets, cooling fans, prox switches. I also made it to use 12mm magnets and 10mm ballends so I could use inexpensive kit on Bangood. https://www.banggood.com/200MM-4x6-MM-Diagonal-Push-Rod-L200-With-Magnetic-Ball-Joint-And-Steel-Ball-For-Kossel-3D-Printer-p-1090223.html The brackets I drew up are: A part cooling fan for the stock Anycubic fan bracket. Because that's what I have. A part cooling fan for the E3d V5 A Part cooling fan for the E3d V6. It's just a little shorter. The V6 would probably work on either. A proxy switch bracket. Everything should attach with 3mm screws and nuts. There are recesses in the clamp for easier installation. To glue in the magnets I used JB weld. My measurements are to the center of the ball ends. For the effector off set it's to the center of a line between the centers of the two ball ends to the center of the effector. "#define DELTA_EFFECTOR_OFFSET 27.61" For carriage offset, from the center of the ball to the rear of the bracket is 8.8 mm. So for a stock Anycubic add .8 to #define DELTA_CARRIAGE_OFFSET. For setting up the rods I highly recommend these jigs. They make it way easier. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1814477 Update: I decided I wanted to see just how fast I could reliably get my printer to print. But I started having problems with the rods disconnecting. I was just going to fast for the magnets. So I drew up some clips that mount to the hot end and the carriages. I used some fishing line and some light springs to help. Before I was pushing the magnets limits at about 100 mms print speed. Now, if I want a really nice print I can print at 120 mms if I want it suer nice. For general good quality I print at 200 mms. If I want to just rip out a print and aren't to concerned if there are a few abnormalities I can hit 300 mms. WOOT!
