20220812 Update: Added a US Pegboard Hook (1/4" diameter, 1" or 2" hole distance) for free, as I can't test it on my end. Please feel free to download, test and comment I always wanted to print out a Modular Paint Rack for my Pegboard to store all of my paints but was holding back as many current desins rely on a huge amount of material and print time. Therefore I came along with this design as it requires only a minimum amount and can be build really fast. The system uses 3D printed elements as the right and left bracket and 4mm rods to combine the two sides. The paints sit on those rods in an angle that secures them in place and allows to easily see the content and to grab them out of it. You can build the rack in any size depending on the length and stability of your chosen 4mm rods. I’ve used 4mm bamboo wooden sticks in 30cm length (100 for 10€ on Amazon), chamfered the edges with a pencil sharpener and carefully hammered them in. As the holes were quite tight for me, there was no need to use glue. If you plan on using different materials (e.g. aluminium rods), experiment with resizing the pieces or drill the holes up with a 4mm drill bit. The individual pieces also have connectors on the top and bottom to stack them modularly depending on your needs. You can connect them with M3x10 screws to have a strong bond. The holes are undersized on purpose to allow for the screw to grip into the material. The individual pieces also all have holes in the back. This allows to screw them to the custom M3 „Pegboard Holder“ (sold separately) with a M3x10 screw or directly to a wall. This particular piece can be used to add a shelf to the bottom of the rack. I’ve used a 3mm MDF board, cut it to size and hot glued it onto the brackets. You can also use small screws to lock it secure into place. The rack can be mounted on the wall but can also be unmounted and be placed flat on the table. With the seperatly available „Standalone Base“ you can also screw it to the table or a piece of wood and use it as a post. Please note: The attached images are supposed to share an impression about the integration with other Modular Pegboard Paint Rack pieces, but only the following STL (unsupported) is included in this file: „Modular Pegboard Paint Rack: Shelve Bottom“
