The goal is to create a lightweight, modular picavet mount for aerial kite photography. In my case, I have a Foxeer Legend 1 action camera, but the actual camera mount is a separate print and can be changed for a mount that works for other cameras. Goal is simplicity and weight minimization. Most connections use zip ties, but there is a 1/4" bolt connecting the camera plate and the picavet mount. Three pieces: picavet mount plate - connects to the camera mount plate and has notches to guide the zip ties picavet plate - sandwiches the popsicle/craft sticks to the picavet mount plate and has holes to guide the zip ties foxeer mount - the camera mount plate, including zip tie holes Post-Printing Strengthen bolt hole area Because of delamination, the bolt hole area is liable to breakage, so post-processing ABS with acetone is probably a good idea. I haven't done it yet. Popsicle stick configuration I used wood glue to glue the popsicle sticks. Assemble Maybe glue some micro-cell-foam or tub tread to the camera plate to keep the camera from sliding out. TBD
