This is work in progress, many things can change. Some time ago I was wondering about space efficient way of growing herbs and vegetables. I have searched something about it, and I found - window farm. After some thinking I designed it, and here it is! My window farm is made to be modular, and easy to accommodate to your needs. You can choose between vary of pot sizes, connectors and other stuff. Your window farm is only limited with your imagination. Everything is optimized for 200mmx200mm bed and fast printing. For smaller systems you can use airlift, for bigger pneumatic ejector pump. Pots have 6mm hole going through so you can glue there pipe for airlift and increased strength. You can use rod instead, and grow plants with long stems. Pot connectors have holes too, so you can use one water pipe for all columns. You can also set number of water drains too. Feel free to comment and remix. Print Settings Printer: Geeetech prusa i3 X Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 30% Notes: Big pots are printed with vase mode. If big pot leaks on layer change, add additional filament on restart. Post-Printing Pot Glue basket (round thing under pot) to pot, and add 200mm long tube if you want (it should stick out at the bottom for 30mm). Connector is designed for push-fit Finished pot with airlift tube Big pot For big pot seal it with glue if it leaks and make holes in middle column to determine water height. To connect put tube between big pots, and push big pot connector from top Connected big pots Water drain Water drain is very customizable - you can make vary of setups. For one column use end_single. For 2 or 3 columns use 2 end_single and end_double at the middle. For 4+ columns use end_single at sides, end_multi_side for middle columns, and end_multi_middle. In other words: end_single - 1x6mm end_double 2x6mm, 1x8mm end_multi_side 1x6mm, 1x8mm end_multi_middle 3x8mm To fit airlift tube inside you may need some sanding and glueing.
