Modular Wire Spool Holder

Modular Wire Spool Holder

This is a wire spool holder that I designed to be put together with the only screw being for the Rod Holder. I wanted something that held each spool on its own. This is a modular set up. You can have 1 roll or 50 rolls. There is a front section and a rear section, and side parts to end the roll. The front has tear drop holes to run the wire through and pinch the wire to hold it. This is designed for a 55mm x 20 mm spool with a 25mm hole in the middle. My biggest wire is a 18awg that I used and smallest is a 28awg. Only thing needed is 3m 6mm or 8mm screws Print all the parts to you setup. First connect all the front bases like puzzle pieces. Next connect the side pieces Then slide the front stands (taller stands) in the groove with the screw hole in the front (option, Can have screw holes in the back) Next put the rear bases together same way as fronts only difference is the rear stands (shorter stands) slide in from the front side. Next is the trickier step is to connect the front section to the rear section. (I had to file the sides of the tabs that stick out of the rear base that go under the front base.) Last steps is to add the spools with the rods and the rod holders. I fount it easier to do the spools in the back. When adding the rear spool feed the wire through the hole in the front of the rear base and then through the either hole in the front base.
