Modular X-ends || Sturdy & Easy to Print

These are my X-ends, consisting of three separate printable components that can be assembled using 3mm bolts, nuts (with washers), and a touch of super glue if needed. If the motor holder fails, only that part needs to be printed. The motor and idler mounts are less likely to break due to their flat contact with the bed while tightening the X-belt. This design works well with LM8UU bearings; secure them using an M8 nut on the underside. I have not yet printed these, but soon will. Sivar has shared successful prints in the "Made" section for reference. Notable updates include adding a thin raft to prevent detachment (6/13/2013) and revising the smooth rod clamping to fix bending issues (V3 files, 6/2/2013). The V3 parts are compatible with original components, allowing users with existing motor and idler brackets to test the new base.
