This is a mold for making silicone ring. Two rings made using this mold were used to replace broken elastic rings on the wheels of a model train locomotive. The mold is composed of two parts (see photo). When put together, silicone and be applied to fill up the trough/channel (see photo). When silicone sets in two days, a box cutter can be used to cut two circles which will be the inner and outer circumferences of the ring (see photos). The two parts of the mold will then be separated as shown in the photo. The other side of the ring can be cut out as shown. Two rings can be made and put on the wheels of model train. The ring size is: inner diameter 18mm; outer diameter 22mm; thickness 2.5mm.
