Money Box

With the recent launch of the new 1 pound coin in the UK, I found that I started to get lots of these shiny new nuggets in my change. I thought that it might be a good idea to start saving them for no particular reason other than I couldn't bear to part with them. Anyway, I decided to design a money box to save my pound coins in rather than leaving them loose. The design I went for is modelled on the pound coin itself, 11 of them actually, scaled up by a ratio of 4:1 in a stack with a slight rotation as they rise up. The top coin is actually the lid which is an easy fit so it won't stop you (or anyone else) from dipping into it when you need change for parking or bus fare.
