I designed a majestic monogram, crafted from letters A and T, that can be rendered in breathtaking three dimensions. This intricate monogram is being modelled as it will be eventually sculpted into solid bronze. Drawing inspiration from classic European family monograms of the 19th century, I aimed to replicate their regal charm within this creation. To accomplish this task, I used Autodesk's powerful software - 3ds Max 2016. I took a disciplined approach and isolated various components within the design to optimize efficiency. My end goal is a 25-segment model that effortlessly transitions between various configurations while retaining precision. To make my monogram functional as a print object or even as a master mold, I prioritized stability without ever sacrificing any quality. The model exhibits dimensions of approximately 458 * 454 * 16 mm. Key technical specifications include the clean distribution of edge loops across each segment, allowing for unimpeded quads in Max file, which provides greater accuracy and finer control during subdivision mesh creation (total of 568,040 polygons after sub-divided). My attention to these minute details ultimately makes this intricate piece fit seamlessly within a range of 3D printing scenarios, culminating into a fully operational print that is also versatile enough to function as master mould for subsequent reproduction
