Monoprice maker select plus IIIP Rear Brace (at the back)

I was looking for a brace that was positioned at the rear so that the threaded rod does not stick out in front. I couldn't find one so I tried to learn to create things through fusion 360 and came up with this. I am not sure if this works well and I do not guarantee that it improves your prints but I'm sharing it nonetheless :) Feel free to use and modify as you please. You will need the following after printing these thingys... 2 pcs 400 - 410 mm M8 (5/16") metal threaded rod 2 pcs M5 x 16 screws -- to replace the lower rear screws at the back 8 pcs M3 x 12 screws -- because the the other screws on the side and the bottom will not be long enough anymore 6 pcs M8 hex nuts -- to hold the rods 2 pcs M8 nylon hex nuts -- to be placed at the bottom (no slippage) Optional: heat shrink tubes to cover the threaded rods (I used a combination of black and red) About the Nuts: There are 2 kinds of nut holders in the STL files (those hex shaped thingys with a half dome). One has a big dome while the other has a smaller dome. You need 8 of them printed. You can mix and match whichever you think is best. I printed for myself 4 small and 4 large. The small ones are used at the outer ends of the rods while the 4 large ones are used at the inner part of the rods. The procedure is: 1. Print the thingys (make sure to flip them in your slicer before printing) 2. Buy the stuff above (will be less than $10) 3. Remove the screws from your printer 4. Loosely connect the upper and lower parts with the rods 5. Connect the parts to the printer 6. Tighten all the screws By the way, some of my pictures are the first versions of prints (before I fixed slight defects in the design). I fixed these defects in the final STL files that I uploaded here. Also uploaded a .STEP file of the entire design for those who are interested in modifying my version.
