https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3717404 Newer version. with version 3 coming online in minutes. I bought an E3d V6 clone from amazon and all the mounts that were out there for the MPMD didnt work I tried two different ones. The heater block on the e3d is larger than the one on the MP Mini Delta so it melted the holder and had to sit on the effector plate. The other issue is people were designing them with the two front screws as a center reference when if you look at the MPMD stock hotend the center line is back approx 5-7 mm from the screw position. So I used the stock mount as a ref and used fusion 360 and this is the result. 5/24/2019 1345 Added quick photo of Version 2 workup from this morning. Making the holes larger to fit the nuts that come with the machine. Opened up the backend some, added fan holder as the one that mounts to the heatsink on the hotend is warping. Version one got about 8 hours and it now starting to loosen on the screws (hence working on getting the nuts in). 5/25/2019 0930 Added V2 stl as it is starting to print, photo when done. Made the nut holes a little larger. Fan mount on back side. Cut away some of the backside. Note this is more of a modified version of v1. When I get closer to final I will build from scratch to make sure everything is nice and clean. 5/25/2019 1115 Added photo of versions two, I need to cut out part of the fan holder supports as the heatsink touches. 05/25/2019 1120 Cut and added V2.2, printing now. 05/25/2019 1400 added two photos side and front of v2.2 printed, I used one square nut, lost the other one. It was meant to be designed to use three nuts or just hand tap the holes. 05/30/2019 0930 Still running this version, I have printed 4 other versions and a few other things approx 20-25 printing hours on the V2.2 With rear fan. This one might be retired today as I will print Final designs. (Two fan on rear and front/dual fan). 05/26/2019 1745 Added Lock with Fan stl. It is a front holding fan. The holes are a little off but I still managed to get the two screws to hold it. Print V1 holder and lock with fan. or print V2.2 if u want dual fans. I did start on V3 but I dont like it so I went back and made the fan with lock. Version 2.2 works but it is very tight the Fan almost touching the rods when doing G29 P5. It works but I still wanted a front mount fan since there is more room. The front fan touches the Heatsink at the moment so I would only use it to print one or two quick prints. I will adjust that tomorrow. 5/27/2019 1100 Added Hybrid V3 with Lock and Fan, I need the fan to go a little further away. It still touches the heatsink. 5/27/2019 1120 Added LockFan V2 moved more of it out by 2.5mm, added some extra chamfers for strength and rigidity. 5/27/2019 1430 Added photo, closing in on final design. Need to add some strength on side to side movement. Will probably add some Mount holes for the fan bottom screws on the hotend side. 5/27/2019 1705 Added what I hope are the final STLs lots of chamfer for strength, some fillets for so looks. Wont know till tonight or tomorrow when I print it. So far I am running V2 (Fan on back) with V1 lock. It has been doing good considering I am only printing at 5 or 10% infill while prototyping. The almost final one finished printing an hour ago but snapped at one part so I went back and added some chamfers to help with that. 5/30/2019 0900 Added Final versions of Main housing, main housing with rear fan. Front lock, and front lock with fan. I also included the Fusion 360 Archive file for anyone who wants to modify. I do not intend to make any other changes but that is pending on me printing the final ones in the next few days. The Final locks and fans should be close enough that they should work with older versions but I wont know till I print and I did do a redesign of the top part if the holder so the holes may be off from other versions. I'm leaving it as a work in progress for the time being. If you do modify let me know I would like to follow it. Print With rear fan and front lock with fan if you want dual 30mm Fans. 6/3/2019/2230 minor progress update. I printed holder with fan and final lock. I have not tested. I am printing the final hybrid right now. The big delay is V2 with rear fan, I see no reason to stop using it, I might now have around 40 hours on it (fan screw came out but I have a draft/windw right next to it). I want the final version to be it but I have to give V2 with rear fan some props. 6/4/2019 1810 Added photo of Final printed .1mm height 5% gyroid. and Photo of final with rear fan (fast .2mm) both with supports. Final with rear fan busted while attaching fan never used it. Final without fan hasn't been used yet ( would have tested but last nights broke free at 98%). Final has all three screws with home depot six sided nuts. Unfortunately I think I have one more change to make the e3d clone doesn't sit right, depending on the lock with fan I may need to widen the throat, I could probably sand it down but I want from print bed to machine. The final printed .1mm height I also did at 25mm/min sped up for a little while 4:30 expected print time, finished in 3:19. 6/16/2019 1030 I am going to start again from ground up on two versions (possibly). I will be using V2 with rear fan with V1 fan lock as my starting point and then maybe a second one if needed. I am still running V2 with rear fan and V1 lock, I now have about 120 printing hours on this one so I haven't been that motivated to continue designing and printing as I do have about six test ones to fall back on. 6/21/1130 Update, my prints had been not so good lately. I went back to stock hotend and the prints are where they should be. The good news I got approx 60-80 printing hours out of version 2 w/rear fan. So sunday I might start the ground up re-design. And I have learned a lot in fusion 360 since then so here it goes.
