Update 21.09.2019: Thanks Gori_B for the feedback. That inspired me to update my design. Before the slot where cables are supposed to pass on the sides was a bit too narrow. Now I have put round holes into both sides to solve this issue (choose V10). To make it printable without slicer-generated supports I designed small break-away support columns that you can easily remove with a flush cutter after printing. So far I didn't try it out and I don't know if the new design is weaker than the first. So if you print it please share your experience. Happy modding! ------------------------------------- As this printer is quite noisy out of the box I wanted to silence it with TL-Smoothers and stepper dampers. The Problem: You can't install dampers without the stepper motors colliding with the PCB. So I designed motor mounts that allow to install the stepper dampers without the stepper motors colliding with the PCB. You can use the original bolts to mount the motor mount to the printer body and just need six additional bolts (M3) to combine steppers and dampers. Overall you need to print just two of these because the third stepper has enough room for damper installation. I printed them in PETG and so far they work fine. Maybe Polycarbonate or CF filled Nylon will be siuted best for the task. ABS or pure Nylon might be to flexible for this. Be careful not to strip the bolts as they are tightended like crazy. At the end you need to move the geared pulley that is on the steppers slightly away from the motor to align the belts path. It is not glued and moves applying a reasonable ammount of force. One more thing: You will need to cut out a bit of the ABS feet before putting it together as they will collide with this adapter. Check the last photo to see what I mean.
