Monoprice Mini Select v2 Raspberry Pi Camera v2.1 Simple Side Mount

<body>This is a simple side mount for a Raspberry Pi v2.1 camera module with a Monoprice Mini Select v2. I could not find an existing design that I liked, so I designed a simple side mount and remixed parts from several designs to: <ul> <li>avoid attaching the camera to the bed or other moving parts so as not to introduce additional vibrations</li> <li>provide an 'eye level' view of the bed, given the Mini's print area is so small and the gantry and hot end assembly get in the way from higher angles</li> <li>have a simple design that was easy to print and fitted in with the Mini's design aesthetic</li> <li>could be mounted without drilling or glueing</li> </ul> I also could not find an existing case front / back design that worked with the Raspberry Pi v2.1 camera module. The ribbon cable connector appears to have changed and would foul on existing designs. I also took inspiration from <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1662971">willywidget's Raspberry Pi Camera Case</a> with its bottom-back exit for the ribbon cable. In addition, I really liked <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3882353">monkeylabs' Ball Joint with Tension screw</a> so there was more tension on the ball joint, but the design was not manifold, so I repaired it. In addition to the files in this project, you will need to print: <ul> <li>the ball joint (BallJoint.stl) from <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:247590/files">3dkarma's design</a></li> <li>two links from <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:247590/files">3dkarma's design</a> - I found 80mm length worked well</li> </ul> You will also need a couple of M3 screws: <ul> <li>2 x M3 screws of around 10-12mm to hold the mount to the side of the Mini</li> <li>2 x M3 15-16mm screws and nuts for the links</li> <li>1 x M3 25mm screw and nut for the ball joint holder</li> </ul> I would also recommend printing the <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2241293">Raspberry Pi Camera v.2 Focus Tool</a>. I have included Fusion 360 file for all the items I designed, remixed or repaired for those that wish to tinker. The side mount itself could probably be thinned a bit, but I didn't mind the chunky look. Enjoy!</body>
