The default MP10 inductive sensor from my user experience is complete garbage with uneven measurements constantly going out of sync. This mount allows you to install a 5v NPN M8 thread inductive sensor into the stock inductive sensor location using the same screws. No firmware edits are required for this to work, just mechanical wiring. It specifically has to be this sensor from my own testing of voltage and from reading the uncompilable firmware source. The sensor I am using is linked here: https://www.amazon.com/Twidec-Normally-inductive-Proximity-LJ8A3-2-Z/dp/B07NZBDDP1/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=m8+5v+npn+sensor&qid=1632845345&sr=8-4 Wiring is shown above. Lastly, add the following to your start g-code after G28. This is created after reviewing the terminal command relay from Pronterface; G29 P0; Levelling Part 1 G29 P1; Levelling Part 2 G29 P3.1; Levelling Part 3.1 G29 A; Start UBL M500; Save to EEPROM
