i had two big isues with these printer, the first prooblem was that the fan could not cold enougth the aluminium block so the filament clogged the nozzle on every print. The second problem was that the movement of the printer loosen the pneumatic fitting, so it ended up coming out all time so the prints fail. for sure this happen on every monoprice select mini so i made these design to fix both problems. Apart from that y hate the way is attached to the printer so i design a couple of snaps too. 1- Print the new part. 2- Snap in the new piece. 3- insert the pneumatic fitting and secure it with the original screw. 4- Useing M3 nut and screw secure the pneumatic fitting to the new piece. 5- Change the small fan for a 40mm noctua ( its really easy, just cut the wires and solder noctua's wires with matching colours there are many videos showing these process on internet) then screw it . 6- Test it printing a small object. The fan upgrade has 6mm of height and Ø 9.3mm + holes for a M3 nut and a screw. The fan upgrade for standard connection has 3.5mm of height and Ø 9.3mm.
