If you see anything I did below that needs correcting, kindly let me know. **Credit** This is a remix of the trimmed Monoprice Select Mini NEMA17 Z-Axis Stepper Motor Adapter by xC0000005, which is also a remix of the original adapter by USWaterRockets. **What's Remixed** I didn't want to have to cut the lead screw of the NEMA17 stepper motor, so I added an extension to the trimmed adapter. I also added a fillet to the inside corner of the trimmed portion. **Requirements** This remix adds a 65mm extension to the original 5mm thick adapter, for a total overall height of 70mm. This will give about 10mm clearance at the top of the lead screw, so it is necessary to move the extruder motor out of the way. There are a number of extruder mount adapters available from others to mount externally at the top of the printer tower. Since this adapter will make the z-axis motor stick out the bottom about 10mm, you will also need a lift kit, available from others. **Part List** To use this adapter, you will need: 4x - 35mm standoffs 4x - 25mm standoffs 4x - M3x10mm screws 35mm Z-Axis Extension NEMA17 Stepper Motor with 300mm Lead Screw Extruder motor external mount (eg. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2335788) Lift Kit (eg. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2335630) Combine one of each size standoff to make four 60mm standoffs. This adapter works with the 35mm z-axis extension by xC0000005. It should also work with the 35mm z-axis extension by Geonovast.
