I liked the idea of the pi camera mounting bracket by stevepax and used it for inspiration to create this one for my GoPro. I ended up angling the shoe instead of the mount itself since it was easier to design. I have included two files, one is for attaching to the left side of the build plate and the other is for the right side. You only need to download whichever one you prefer. You will need the following: - 2 x M3 machine screw 8-12mm - 2 x M3 nut - 2 x M3 flat washer (optional, but recommended) - 1 x M5 nut - 1 x Extension arm: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:454206 UPDATE 5/26/17: I have added new files with a few improvements: - There is now a support column underneath the nut bracket to eliminate the overhang. - The spacing between the shoes has been decreased by 0.25mm for a better fit. - The cutout for the bed screw now cuts through the entire mount allowing for adjustment of the bed screw without removal of the mount. - The right side mount now has an angle of 17 degrees and the left side mount has an angle of 31.3 degrees. UPDATE 3/18/17: After a couple of attempts to get the angles right and failing, I decided to do the math and get it right once and for all. Since the lens of the GoPro is offset from the mount, the angle for either side will need to be different. In order to center the build plate in the frame, the right should be around 15 degrees and the left side should be around 32.3 degrees. I have updated both files to reflect these changes. I haven't printed them yet, but I am fairly confident that it should be right this time. If you print them, let me know how they work. UPDATE 3/15/17: I have printed the file and noticed a few small mistakes. I have fixed them and re-uploaded the files. - The screw holes were 15mm apart when they should have been 14mm apart, so now it should fit better. - The 30-degree angle was a little bit too steep so I changed it to 26 degrees. - The edge around the nut bracket was a bit thin, so I widened it.
