Monoprice Select Mini V2 original hotend fan

Two and a half years later...I'm still using my trusty Monoprice Select Mini V2. One of the weakest points of the printer's design was cooling. That scrawny, little 30mm fan used to cool both the hotend and the part being printed. Weak I have essentially redesigned their idea of using a single fan to accomplish both tasks by using a superior fan (Noctua 40x20mm fan) to stop heat creep and improve overall print quality. - Stops heat creep and prevents partial clogs - Focuses air flow onto the part being printed, improving print quality - Designed to mount onto the original cradle design - Maintains a strong center of gravity for hotend balance - Clear view of nozzle for build plate leveling - Simple installation -Slips onto the front half of the MPSM hotend clam shell. -Replace old screws with: two - #4 x 1 1/4" (picture in images) Tested and Qualifed -Vapor used to view the focused air flow on the part being printed -Budget bridge test to test bridging and print quality. THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS Update May 15, 2020: Started using this full time for printing a few weeks ago. Began with small, quick prints, but I have since opened it up. We are now well past 100 hours of printing. No clogs and the filament comes out in the straight stream! No curling here.
