Here I proudly present to you my full scale Monster Hunter Generations Great Sword! After completing my 22’’ long display piece version, I thought, what the heck. Let’s make this thing SUPER SIZED. So that’s exactly what I did. Here is a list of all the key features for this design: -Ease of printing: 100% support free and easy to assemble -Optimized for both small and large format printers (like the Raise3D): Includes 2 versions – one cut to fit smaller sized printers and one cut to fit larger printers to reduce the amount of total pieces. -Stability and Strength: Designed to use 2 5/16’’ 2ft long threaded rods to increase strength and stability. -This thing is MASSIVE – Full length is about 50’’ long (that’s over 4ft long!) Instructions: Start with the bottom pieces and work your way up to the top, inserting the rods and pins into their holes while gluing each piece on top of each other until you reach the top. I would recommend that you use 5 minute clear epoxy for this. And that’s it! Unfortunately, since I spent so much time on my main design (the smaller promotional display), I did not have time to fully paint it in time, but don’t worry. I plan to make it even nicer than the small version, so stay tuned for those pictures! I hope you like my design Capcom, and I hope this sword brings justice to your wonderful design. I had to do a lot of interpretation with this sword and gave myself some creative license for many things, but I’m very happy at the way it turned out. Now I know it may not be AS big as in the game, but it’s certainly big enough for me.
