120mm x 90mm large monstrous creature bases; primarily used for a new Tyranid army. Scale as needed; could work well as scatter terrain. Add as much flock, grit/sand, body bits and slime to your hearts content... prints without support; The bases are entirely flat on the bottom without the customary raised indentation. A raised indentation could be added to allow pins to extend below the base or weights to be added underneath however it would then require supports to print. I've pinned models directly to the raised terrain areas on the base - rocks, side walls, eggs, et.al. Use a small pin drill to create a hole where you need and add a few drops of super glue in the hole before inserting the pin. Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .2 Infill: 25% Post-Printing Edge Bevel In the stl model, areas of the base have a sharp edge from where the mask/boolean object was used to create the oval shape - after printing they are not as pronounced as they are in the digital model so you may not need to sand/file them down unless you want a more narrow/beveled edges around the perimeter of the base.
