Montana Mask Plague Doctor Beak

This is a Plague Doctor beak designed to attach to the Montana Mask from https://www.makethemasks.com/ - I used their 3d model of the mask to make a perfect fit for this beak. The filter plate with flange does fit, with some practice and coaxing, through the beak's opening so you could permanently affix the beak to the mask, but in my case the friction fit is spot on, so I'm going to leave it as is. I made the gap underneath very large to not restrict airflow - breathing through a mask is a chore enough without adding a place to trap extra CO2 or reduce the conduit of air. "Big Gap, no tolerance" is the one with the large cutout, and no extra gap for the mask fit. On mine, it slid into place like it had been printed together and was so satisfying. "No holes, no tolerance - mask fitted" is after it was trimmed to match the mask exactly, and no more. If you wanted to make different style of air hole, or a voronoi style mask, this is probably what you want to use. Don't use it as-is for a mask though, because that's just suffocation with extra steps.
