I printed the moon lamp from: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4749712 and searched for a stand on which to mount it. I could not find a stand designed specifically for a 5-inch globe. So...I designed this one. I wanted the globe to fit into the stand (rather than just sit on three sharp points) so I contoured the three places where the globe fits for a 5-inch globe. Finally, I needed the bottom to be tapered in order to provide three flat areas large enough for the stand to stick on the build plate during printing. This build stuck very nicely on my Ender 3 's build plate (I use a mirror with hair spray).
