I encountered an issue where after 2 months of taking the telescope in and out (72 degrees to ~10 degrees) the 68mm to recessed T-thread adapter was really, really, stuck in my Moonlite CHL Focuser drawtube. I tried literally everything that wouldn't damage the threads such as brute force, strap wrenches, hot/cold, nothing worked. This was my final attempt at removal before sending it back to Ron for repair. Needless to say, it worked perfectly. In addition to the tool, you will need 2 longer bolts. I used 5/8 length.
