Update 2/1/2018: it is now very easy to create your own name using BlockCAD, see "3D Names Using BlocksCAD"https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2778956 Here are some names that print as a 3D dimensional name. Jane, TONY, ZAC, Catherine, Michele, JANE I added "jane_2_111019a.stl" which is JANE in all caps and stretched to make the letters taller. They were created in Google Sketchup a free download. See http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:12300 for a quick tutorial on how to create your 3D name in sketchup. If you create a 3D name, please share it with others and upload it to thingiverse with the tag "3D names". If you create a 3D name, please share it with others and upload it to thingiverse with the tag "3D names". p.s. "catherine" was printed using Makerbot's glow in the dark plastic Instructions The name "Jane" came out a little short, so when I created TONY and ZAC I used capital letters and stretched the name a little bit in the vertical direction using the "scale" tool in Sketchup. I also find that a 10mm depth for connectors with a total depth of 20 mm works well. for the dot in the i in michelle, I made the connector a bit taller so that the tower for the dot would be better supported.
