More hats for Holiday Springos

I love the Holiday Springos from Devon Montes at Make Anything! https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-holiday-springos-pack-no-1-80142 I decided I wanted a crew of 3 snowmen, but they needed their own hats. I grabbed a santa hat from Thingiverse, scaled it to fit the snowman, and cut sphere out that fits the snowman's head: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:197260 I made the snowman "fuzzy hat" with simple shapes in Tinkercad. These hats look great printed normally, but I want to try the fuzzy skin on them, too. FYI - if you want to make your own custom hats, the size of the snowman's head seems to be 32.75mm or so - that's the size of the sphere I used to cut out the underside of my hats. I've been using E6000 with these - since these hats don't have a notch to lock them in place, E6000 seems to work a little better than superglue to hold them where I put them. The pictured "Snowman Crew" has 3 sizes - the one with the top hat is the size provided in the Holiday Springo pack linked above. The bigger one is scaled to 110%, the smaller one is scaled to 86%. The coils on the bigger one are a little easier to separate than regular size, the coils on the smaller one are a little harder (no surprises there, really). Devin has a youtube video about separating the coils - basically, you need a putty knife to get in there and break them loose all the way along the coil to finish the springo. *** FILAMENT NOTE *** With Hatchbox white PLA I was able to separate all 3 sizes of snowman. When I used Overture white PLA, it was MUCH harder - I could separate the 100% and 110%, but the 86% guy was fused. If I find settings with Overture that work with the little guy, I'll update again. The santa hat could still use some refining, but this is what I have right now: 1. The brim needs support, but you could probably skip it if you slice a little off the bottom instead to make a nice flat point of contact. I'm using the alpha 2.4 version of Prusa slicer and the supports work really well (comes off really easily), so you can print as is with support, too. 2. There are two puff balls included for the santa hat, and they also need support. The first had a hole that seemed a little small to get onto the main body of the hat - I made it work with a heat gun, but the one called puff ball II has a slightly bigger hole. I haven't tested it yet because my machine is running 24/7 printing snowman bodies right now. :) 3. The main body of the santa hat needs support for the top part that flops over - the supports in the alpha 2.4 version of Prusa slicer work great.
