Here are some regular patterns to be used as infill and internal structure for 3D models using OpenSCAD. Version 1: Cone tubes This structure consists of separate tubes with double cones, arranged in a rectangular pattern. Version 2: Sphere tubes This structure consists of separate tubes with spheres, arranged in a hexagonal pattern. Calculations are time-intensive. Version 3: Octahedrons My favorite structure consists of linked octahedrons, arranged in a rectangular pattern, with wall sizes at their minimum.
