On these vintage motorcycles, the prop stand frame fastener gradually succumbs to a tendency to sag, causing the stock rubber bumper to dip below its designated resting point on the motorcycle frame. To rectify this design flaw, a replacement part is created using TPU printing technology, resulting in a component that's slightly larger in diameter and height to compensate for wear and tear. This modification also keeps the side stand toe extension at a safe distance from the exhaust pipe. I can attest that my printed copy of this part has served me well for over a year without any adverse effects, despite its close proximity to the exhaust pipe. In fact, the fit on the mount post is impressively snug. The OpenSCAD source code is provided with comprehensive comments and adjustable parameters, allowing builders to customize the diameter and height of the bumper to their specific needs.
