Mosaic Palette Scroll Wheel Connector Clamp

Mosaic Palette Scroll Wheel Connector Clamp

If you have experienced the scroll wheel connector working its way loose mid-print then you will know the frustration this causes. The Palette is unable to recover and requires a reset meaning your print is completely lost and you have to start again. This clamp attaches to the Palette using the existing 2 bolts used to connect the female connector within the chassis. To fit, simply remove the top cover, undo the 2 bolts holding the connector, being careful not to lose the 2 nuts on the inside of the chassis, feed the bolts through the holes in the clamp and reassemble. Ensure you fit with the Palette logo facing uppermost. This is because there is a small recess inside the clamp to accept the nib on the black connector. The bolts are long enough to accept the clamp so no additional parts are required. TIP: To make things easier if you dab the outside of each nut with a spot of superglue before you remove the bolts then they will remain in place and cannot fall into the lower cavity.
