Mostly Printed CNC Z-Axis Motor Mount

Mostly Printed CNC Z-Axis Motor Mount

thingiverse

This is a re-design of the Z-Axis Motor Mount for the Mostly Printed CNC. I did this because it was very difficult to mount the motor before because the mounting holes were so deep. Finding a driver that is that thin and that deep was nearly impossible. Now the screws can be easily accessed with my version. It also seems to be much sturdier as well. Update: 1/19/2016 I have been informed by the original creator of the Mostly Printed CNC that my design had a flaw in that the hole for the screw should be offset by 6.25mm. I have fixed my drawing to include that offset and the two files with "1's" after them are the corrected version of this model. I have not tested this change as the original one seems to work fine for me and I do not plan to re-print it. If you decide to try this version please be sure to let me know how it works for you.
